This antique Milliner's hat stretcher which originates from France dates from the early 20th century and sits on a wooden base.

This great looking stretcher has a light brown painted finish and works by turning the chunky metal handle to open and close the top section.

These hat stretchers make wonderful shop window display pieces for hats, wigs and other head wear. This one has a painted finish, a long chunky metal handle which opens and closes the stretcher and an ivorine plaque.

Date: Early 20th century.

Weight: 6.392 kg.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age leaving a wonderful look. Some small chips, cracks, bruises and age related wear from use. Opens and closes OK. Some old woodworm which has been treated. Hat sizer chart is faded. Please see pictures.
