This stylish pair of antique Champagne or wine bottle coasters which are made of silver plate have wooden bases, date from c1850 and are by Roberts & Slater.

These two early Victorian bottle holders have high sides which have a beautiful pierced design, each with a blank cartouche, fancy top rim and are marked to the lower rim with the maker's marks.

A very nice addition to a home bar and will look wonderful on display.

Material: Silver Plate. Wood.

Date: c1850.

Marks: Maker's mark for Roberts & Slater.

Dimensions of each coaster: Outer diameter: 14 cm (5 1/2"). Inner diameter: 12.5 cm (5"). Height: 6.5 cm (2 1/2").

Total weight for the pair: 572 g.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some light marks and wear to the plate. Please see pictures.
