This fabulous antique thermometer holder which is made by renowned maker Sampson Mordan & Co is fully hallmarked for 1905 and is a rare piece in excellent condition.
The fine quality silver tube has a beautiful engine turned design to the outer, a blank cartouche so could be engraved if you so wished and comes complete with it's chain so would have been worn from a chatelaine by a nurse.
This antique silver piece is in beautiful condition and comes with a later thermometer. Would make a wonderful gift for a medical student or nurse or a nice collectible for a silver collector.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver, Leopard's head for London. Date letter K for 1905. Maker's mark SM & Co for Sampson Mordan & Co.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with only very light signs of use in keeping with age. A couple of small marks / dings. Please see pictures.
