This fine quality Victorian hall stand which dates from the 19th century is well made of oak, has brass finials and fittings, a removable lower drip tray and has a wonderful rich patina.

This handsome wooden stick/umbrella stand which is attributed to James Shoolbred & Co has a diamond registration kite mark to the reverse which dates from 1882.

There is no maker's mark to this stand but this stand is of very nice quality and is a recognised design by James Shoolbred & Co. Their furniture was displayed in a series of catalogues that the company produced every year with their new designs and by the mid 1880s their furniture was of the best quality available.

A highly decorative antique piece of arts and crafts furniture that would make a great addition to your home furnishings.
