This wonderful Chinese silver trinket box has an inset copper top which is decorated with foliage, poppies and flowers.

The side of the box has been hand chased with a striking criss cross pattern and dates from the late 19th century.

The lid fits nice and tight with the whole item being well made.

There is a maker mark impressed on the bottom of the inside. Please see picture.

Size: Width: 9 cm. Height: 5 cm approx

Weight: 170 grams.

Condition: Beautiful antique condition. Signs of use in keeping with age. There is a very small piece of the copper top missing. A couple of very small dings to the underside. There is a maker mark impressed on the bottom of the inside. Please see pictures.
