This interesting cricket trophy cup which is made of solid silver dates from 1917 and was the winner's trophy for The Cart Cricket Cup in 1919 and 1920.

This antique trophy is engraved to the front with the inscription The Cart Cricket Cup 1919. Winner. 1919 WH Hardy 251 Runs. Average 20.9 and 1920 WH Hardy 204 Runs. Average 15.7.

This handsome antique silver cup has two side handles, a stepped base and would make a great addition to a decorative trophy collection.

Material: Solid silver.

Date: 1917.

Maker: Charles Edwards.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver. Leopard's head for London. Date letter b for 1917 and maker's mark CE for Charles Edwards.

Dimensions: Width across at handles: 11 cm (4 1/2"). Width: 6.5 cm (2 1/2"). Height to top of handles: 14 cm (5 1/2").

Total weight: 130 g.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light marks, surface scratches and a small bruise to one side. Sits slightly uneven. Please see pictures.
