This stunning cigar cutter which is made from a wild boar's tusk is mounted with a silver eagle's head and dates from c1900.

This antique Austrian cigar cutter which is by George Adam Scheid is marked GAS with the Austrian 900 silver hallmark, has garnet cabochon eyes and is of superb quality.

The cutting mechanism is mounted to the other end of the tusk and works as it should.

The company Georg Adam Scheid founded was in Vienna in 1880's and became synonymous with luxury and refined craftsmanship.

A highly desirable antique piece that would make a special gift for a collector.
