This pair of unusual solid silver menu holders which are of very nice quality are by silversmith Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank Shepherd) and both are fully hallmarked for Chester 1903.
These menu holders which are designed as two crossed golf clubs on top of some golf balls could also be used to display a photograph, business card or party invitation and look very nice on display just on their own.
These rare golfing items are a nice heavy gauge and would make a great collector's piece for a menu holder collector or a lovely gift for a golfing enthusiast.
