This interesting golf trophy cup which is made of solid silver has a handle to each side and features three golf clubs.

This sterling silver trophy is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1937 and has an interesting inscription that reads: Nidderdale Savings Committee. Group Trophy. Beckwithshaw 1943. Hunsingore 1944. Ripley 1945.

Nidderdale is an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Yorkshire Dales.

This unique trophy which sits on it's plastic black base is a great decorative piece for a man cave, bar or sports club.

Material: Sterling Silver.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver. Anchor for Birmingham. Date letter N for 1937 and maker's mark D & P for Davies & Powers.

Dimensions: Width including handles: 11 cm (4 1/4"). Width including base: 8 cm (3"). Height including handles and base: 17 cm (6 3/4").

Weight: Silver trophy only: 86 g. Total including base: 124 grams.

Condition: Good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some marks, surface scratches, tarnishing and tiny bruises. Please see pictures.
