This handsome English Oak trophy bowl which dates from c1900 has silver plated fittings, is a smaller size bowl and is filled with 9 vintage cricket balls.

This antique oak bowl has a silver plated rim, two silver plated ornate side handles, three silver plated feet which are designed as mythical beasts and fitted to a silver plate lower rim and two vacant large shields which could be engraved if you so wished.

This decorative bowl has a stylish look just on it's own but also makes a handsome display piece with the cricket balls so ideal for a cricket enthusiast, sports bar or prop.

Date: c1900.

Dimensions of bowl: Width including handles: 26 cm (10 1/4"). Depth: 21.5 cm (8 1/2"). Height to top of handles: 15 cm (5 3/4").

Weight: 2474 g in total.

Condition: Very nice decorative antique condition with signs of use and wear with a wonderful look. The silver plate has worn in some places, some areas of tarnish and some surface scratches. The balls which vary in sizes and age have had lots of use. Please see pictures.
