This charming petite Victorian photo frame which is made of solid silver has an ornate wire work design, is fully hallmarked for 1896 and is made by renowned maker Mappin & Webb.

This beautiful picture frame has an ornate A-design easel stand and is unusual having a solid silver back that has been lovingly inscribed with - Mudd From Kiddie. Sept 30th 1896.

The back pulls off to gain access to insert a photograph.

A really nice usable antique glazed photograph or picture frame that is by a top maker and feels heavy in the hand.

Hallmarked to front, back and stand: Lion for sterling silver. Leopard's head for London. Date letter a for 1896 and maker's mark JNM for Mappin & Webb.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some small tarnish marks. Please see pictures.
