This handsome industrial wooden table riser which dates from 1951 is extremely well made of solid oak and has brass edging. It has developed a wonderful natural patina giving a stylish look, is made by high quality manufacturing company 'Staverton' and has the Royal Cypher for King George VI stamped underneath.

A really useful and usable shelf that would look great on a desk, on a workbench or in a kitchen displaying your spices.

Maker: Staverton Joinery. The company manufactured high-quality furniture from the 1920s with a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship.

Marks: Marked to the underside with the maker's name: Staverton. Also with the Royal Cypher for King George VI. Stamped 1951.
