This antique heavy duty industrial trolley which dates from 1901 is made of wood and iron, has a central brass plaque which reads "The Moveall patent" and is stamped to the base with J R Mountstevens which was most likely the original owner.

This handsome small trolley which was patented by Frederick William Brampton (1856-1949) in 1901 has metal wheels and grip studs that prevent items from slipping and would have once been used in a factory or used as a removal / piano dolly.

A very decorative and interesting piece that would make a super display piece for a shop, hotel or ideal for home use.

Inventor: Frederick William Brampton of Brampton Brothers who were manufacturers of cycle chain and cycle fittings, cycle saddles.

Size: Length - 46 cm (18"). Width - 37 cm (14 1/2"). Height - 9 cm (3 1/2") approx.

Weight: 7.18 Kg.

Condition: Great decorative antique condition with wear, tear, scratches and a wonderful patina. A good solid usable piece. Some old worm holes which have been treated as a precaution. Please see pictures.
