This handsome antique table top gong which has 2 cattle horns mounted on an English oak base has silver plated & brass decorative mounts and dates from the Edwardian period.

This gong has an equestrian theme as it has a fitted cartouche to the front which reads York, 1904, Warwolf. The wooden mounts for the cattle horn are in the form of horses hoofs and the metal gong which is suspended between the two horns is engraved with a horses head. Comes with a wooden striker which sits nicely on a rest which is in the form of riding crops.

This antique equestrian themed gong is a very nice usable piece that also looks wonderful on display.
