This original leather football which dates from c1930 is a nice rare football collectable.

The football is a T-panel design that is the same style of ball that was used in the second half of the first ever official FIFA World Cup in 1930. The World Cup final saw Argentina and Uruguay fail to agree on which ball they should use, so Argentina's ball was used in the opening half, and Uruguay's in the second.

It is well made with excellent quality stitching, brown leather and 6 pairs of lace holes. The old tube type bladder is inside but not inflated.

Details of the match along with pictures of the original football can be found on wikipedia -

Weight: 372 grams.

Date: c1930.

Condition: Well used vintage condition with some scuffs, scrapes, scratches and marks. The old tube type bladder is inside but not inflated. Stitching is in good condition. A genuine antique/vintage ball and not a reproduction. Please see all pictures.
